Which Redheads Will Win?

The official 2022 Oscar nominations have been announced and there are quite a few redheads up for awards this year! With a total of 20 nominees for each category of Best Actor/Actress & Best Supporting Actor/Actress, one-fourth of the nominations are redheads!

Stay tuned for the Oscars on March 27th to find out who takes home the awards:

Best Actress – Jessica Chastain, The Eyes of Tammy Faye

Queen of the redheads, Jessica Chastain may be donning some blonde hair in the film, but it earned her a nomination for Best Actress for her part as Tammy Faye in The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Best Actress – Nicole Kidman, Being the Ricardos

A natural redhead herself, Nicole Kidman portrays one of the most famous redheads of all Lucille Ball in the hit film about Ball’s life, Being the Ricardos.

Best Supporting Actress – Jessie Buckley, The Lost Daughter

Jessie Buckley is a newer face to American audiences, but that didn’t stop her from earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Buckley plays a brunette on the show but she’s naturally a redhead.

Best Actor – Benedict Cumberbatch, The Power of the Dog

Did you know that Benedict Cumberbatch is a natural redhead? Yup, that’s right. He normally plays brunettes but he’s really a redhead.

Best Supporting Actor – Jesse Plemons, The Power of the Dog

Another redhead male nominated for Netflix’s Power of the Dog is Jesse Plemons who rocks his natural strawberry blonde/ginger hair and matching mustache in his role as George Burbank.

Rock it like a Redhead!
