Memorial Day marks the start of summer and as redheads, we’re always happy “Don’t Fry Day” is held the Friday before this American holiday each year. Its purpose is to raise awareness about the dangers of overexposure to the sun and to promote sun safety measures, such as wearing sunscreen, protective clothing, and sunglasses, and seeking shade during peak sun hours. It’s a reminder to protect your skin from harmful UV rays to prevent skin cancer and premature aging. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to share our top redhead-approved sunscreen contenders for 2024.
