Redheads Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The HowtobeaRedhead.com shop will go PINK for the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A donation of $1 per item sold will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation and customers who purchase the pink toddler t-shirt will receive 15% off their entire order with code: SUPPORTPINK.

Everyone has been affected by breast cancer in some way. How to be a Redhead’s brand was created by redheaded women for redheaded women and know some of our followers could have personally battled this disease or could have gone through this with loved ones. We believe it is through fundraising and efforts as this that helps saves lives and many are fortunate in having detected this diseased at its earliest stages with the technology and research supported by funded organizations.

Our goal is to gather our amazing (and beautiful) redheaded audience and help raise money for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

But, another way to support the cause is to rock your red hair with the color pink. The color is a sign of femininity. It is the color of baby girls, roses and rosy cheeks. Here are some tips on how to wear pink this month:

1. Hot pink waist belts will spice up an outfit.

2. A dark pink silk top will dress up the outfit for work.

3. Pink jeans or light pink pants because colored bottoms are very “in” right now.

4. Pink lipstick. Read more here about how to get the perfect pink pout.

5. Dress your little ones up in the How to be a Redhead toddler pink tee’s.

Let’s all support the cause, find a cure. And, of course, Rock it like a Redhead!
