Redhead makeup application and experimenting is so fun but sometimes it is beneficial to let the skin breathe. Constant use of makeup can clog pours and cause breakouts. If you’re searching for the perfect “no makeup look” but still want the skin and face to look dewy and clean, follow these steps in 2016:

1. Always begin with cleansing and moisturizing the face.

This first step is critical in making sure your skin is fresh and ready to handle any makeup coming its way.

2. Lightly apply your concealer.

You may choose to use your finger or a brush for application. If you’re in a hurry, opt for using your index finger. Dot the concealer around your under-eye in a fast (but gentle) rhythmic motion. It will help to blend. Try it! Don’t forget to dot on any imperfections you’re facing that day, such as pimples or blemishes.

3. Next, apply a tinted moisturizer around your entire face.

If you have a face full of freckles (and love each and every one of them), do not go overboard with this step. Remember: less is always more.

4. Enhance your eyes with a little mascara: brown or black.

Your blonde eyelashes with thank you for this step. If you only stick to applying mascara on your top lashes, try it on the bottom. It’ll make your eyes pop.

5. Now, it’s time for your redhead eyebrows.

First, you’ll want to make sure they are as polished as can be. Don’t over-tweeze or trim. Comb them just once with a spooly brush. You can then choose to use your favorite eyebrow pencil or powder to enhance the shape. Seal it with a kiss by adding a little coat of eyebrow gel.
