If you’re anything like me, you probably spend a good portion of your lunch break or other free time scrolling through various social media sites to catch up with the goings-on of all your favorite people. So, other than @howtobearedhead, who should you be following? Mind if I make some suggestions?
Here is a list of my 10 favorite redheaded celebrities to follow on Instagram!
1. Debra Messing– @therealdebramessing
I became obsessed with Debra Messing, like most of us, while she was playing Grace Adler on Will & Grace. Now she plays a very different character–a detective/mother in NBC’s Mysteries of Laura, but one thing has definitely not changed–that flawless red hair. I can’t even tell you how many screen shots of her Instagram account I’ve taken to my hairdresser. What’s a girl gotta do to get that hair?

2. Connie Britton– @conniebritton
When was the last time you looked up from your phone and realized you were about 84 weeks deep into Connie Britton’s Instagram account? This morning? Me too. Just kidding… There are only 74 weeks. Anyway, whether you’re interested in her charity work or watching her work the red carpet, her Instagram account has what you’re looking for. By the way, if Connie’s hair is what really piques your interest, it has its own account– @conniebrittonshair. I follow both, obviously.
3. Jessica Chastain– @chastainiac
J Chas is one of the best at keeping us up to date on all of her latest films. She may be the busiest woman in Hollywood right now. For the past few weeks, her account has been filled with pictures from the set of Zookeeper’s Wife. A few weeks before that, it was The Huntsman. Before that, Crimson Peak. Sorry, no more spoilers. I’ll let you check it out for yourself!

4. Bryce Dallas Howard– @brycedhoward
Speaking of Jessica Chastain, has everyone seen her twin in the new Jurassic Park? If not, you probably saw her in The Help, where she starred alongside her lookalike and one of our other favorite redheads, Emma Stone. Bryce Dallas Howard is gorgeous, talented, and has a great sense of humor about being confused for Chastain so often. Follow her to see what I mean.
5. Reba McEntire– @reba
I was very excited to learn that Reba was on Instagram! She is so fun to follow! She posts often, and if you have been a longtime fan of Reba, you will love her #tbts full of sequins, fringe, and that huge, curly red hair.

6. Lindsay Lohan– @lindsaylohan
What is there to say? The girl is always entertaining. You won’t be disappointed.
7. Lana Del Rey– @lanadelrey
I don’t know if any of us can pinpoint what exactly it is about this woman that makes us love her. Lana Del Rey is just so… Lana Del Rey. And I can’t get enough of it! Follow her on Instagram to see a redhead who truly understands the importance of rocking a bold red lip.
8. Florence Welch– @ouhoh
This account is quite different from the others I’ve mentioned, but the artistically-minded or hippies-at-heart will especially love following Florence. Her posts are usually whimsical, poetic, and earthy.
9. Kathy Griffin– @kathygriffin
Her account is sure to keep you laughing. Kathy Griffin is always hilarious; she’s not afraid to make fun of herself or anyone else for that matter. But, I especially love the posts that involve her mother–who, by the way, has her own Instagram account full of Griffin shenanigans– @tipitmaggiegriffin.
10. Conan O’Brien– @teamcoco
I can’t forget the token male of the list–Conan O’Brien. I have always admired Conan’s self-deprecating humor and his enthusiasm to embody all things redhead. Life is just more fun when you can laugh at yourself, and that is definitely Conan’s shtick. His account is full of celebrity guests, clips from his monologues, hysterical bits, and of course plenty of photos of his fluffy loaf of red hair.
This list should be a good starting point if you’re looking to fill your feed with more faces of redheads. And hey, if you feel like you need to add one more, follow me– @annajoterrill. I’ll do my best to keep you entertained!
