Patricia Field is a native New Yorker and one of fashion’s greatest visionaries. She is known for changing the way women dress through HBO’s television series “Sex and the City, films “Devil Wears Prada” and “Confessions of a Shopaholic;” she is also an Academy Awards nominated, Emmy Award winning costume designer for film and television.
Adrienne and Stephanie, Co-Founders of How to be a Redhead, had the pleasure of attending a Q&A with Patricia Field at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York, NY for a movie screening of The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton.
“I wound up with red hair because it is the most complimentary on my olive skin tone. I think redheads can wear any color. I love the colors that go with my red hair,” said Field. “I feel the most comfortable surrounded in greens and love animal skin prints.”
Patricia discussed the fashion she chose for the film, The Other Woman, her inspirations & top fashion tips. See it all from the fashion icon below.
