Every redhead’s skin is different. Some have dry skin, oily skin, combination skin or very sensitive skin. But, we all want the same thing: gorgeous skin with a healthy glow and instant smoothness. Morning skin routines are just as important as night routines. There are certain steps we all must follow in the morning in order to look our best. Scroll down to learn more.

1. CLEANSE

If you aren’t into routines, keep your favorite ‘redhead friendly’ cleanser in the shower. This will come in handy if you are late for work, school or can’t make specific time for skin prepping in the morning. The shower steam will make the skin softer and will open your pores, permitting an in-depth cleanse. Dirt, bacteria and impurities will be removed thoroughly. Always remember to rub in soft circular movements to avoid hurting your skin and to prevent redness. Also, the circular movements will stimulate blood circulation, resulting in healthier skin.

‘Redhead Friendly’ Cleanser Recommendation: REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk Cleansing. Cleansing milks are super soft and gentler than foaming, gel or micro-bead cleansers. They function like a regular cleanser (minus being foam free) and act as a moisturizer, without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

2. EXFOLIATE/TONE

For some young redheads, the word “toner” may not exist in the skin routine because it may seem like a waste of time. And, for those redheads with extremely sensitive skin, “exfoliators” may be your worst enemies because most contain micro-beads or large amounts of alcohol, which only creates redness and dryness. But exfoliating and toning is actually a crucial part of keeping your skin beautiful. Once you find the right products and use them religiously, you’ll notice the instant removal of impurities and polishing of the skin.

‘Redhead Friendly’ Exfoliator/Toner: Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner. It has everything a redhead needs — clean ingredients and great results. Most importantly, it’s an exfoliator and toner in one. Another handy product for every redhead on the go.

3. MOISTURIZE

This is a can’t-leave-your-house type of step. Every redhead needs a good moisturizer to help the skin stay soft and hydrated. Even the oiliest of skin need moisturizing. It is always advised to pick a moisturizer according to your skin type ( Oily, Dry, Combination, Sensitive). Rest assured, if you use a moisturizer on a daily basis, your skin will look healthier and refreshed. It is also a good idea to find a moisturizer that will give you good Sun Protection (SPF) throughout the day.

‘Redhead Friendly’ Moisturizer: Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré. It hydrates all skin types and can also be used as a makeup primer because it helps makeup products stay in place and gives the skin a healthy glow.

Rock it like a Redhead!
