Spray sunscreen can be convenient and mess-free but you want to make sure the formula is fit for redhead skin. If you read HowtobeaRedhead.com, you know we love mineral sunscreens. They physically blocking the rays with ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Chemical sunscreen are different. They absorb the rays before your skin can. This is done with chemical ingredients such as oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, and octinoxate.
When you opt for spray sunscreen, you may also deal with the nozzle clogging. Spray sunscreens usually clog when sunscreen builds up and hardens in the nozzle, or they can become clogged with sand and other build-ups from being outdoors.
TIP: You can usually unclog a spray sunscreen by running the nozzle under warm water or using a needle to poke the clogged spray hole.
