Makeup Tips for Pale Skin Part II

So many times, I see a gorgeous redhead whose makeup is too dark and this creates a line when comparing the neck coloring to the face.”

That’s why it’s important to choose the right makeup for your pale skin. Here are two more helpful tips:

1. “Bronzer is your best friend. Use it to warm the skin after applying your foundation. It keeps the color from looking too washed out, ” says Susan Posnick, a beauty professional and skincare expert.

2. Pyykkonen recommends, “Choose a foundation shade that best suites you. Redheads tend to be more in the fair to light range in foundation. So test a few out before you make your selection. A few foundations that give beautiful, flawless, coverage are Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and YVES SAINT LAURENT foundation. You are going to want to set the foundation with a powder. My favorite powder when working on a pale skin toned client (or even myself for that matter) is a lightweight translucent powder. Simply dust powder onto the cheeks and T-zone area to set foundation. One of my favorites is Make Up For Ever’s HD Powder. Also, Always remember to moisturize and apply SPF prior to using any makeup on your beautiful pale skin. Vanicream Sunscreen SPF 50 makes a great moisturizer/sunscreen that can be worn all day long.”
