Lexi was bullied a lot throughout her redhead life. “There have been too many times to count where I’ve felt so out of place, that there was something wrong with me. That feeling of being different started with having red hair.”

Fortunately, Lexi has grown to love her red hair and has come to realize that being a redhead is much more than a color, it’s a lifestyle. “I love being able to say that I’m a part of the only 2% of people on this planet who has red hair. How cool is that?! Instead of feeling different and weird like I used to when I was a kid, my hair now makes me feel unique in all of the best ways.”

She goes on to share, “Being a redhead has helped me to realize that just because something is different or rare, doesn’t make it negative or bad. Sometimes, it’s the best thing that’s happened to you. Embrace what sets you apart and love what makes you…YOU.”
