“Growing up, my mother was a writer. I remember falling asleep to the sound of typewriter keys clacking. She wrote for newspapers and magazines, but dreamed of writing novels. I had no intention of being a writer. What kid wants to be her mother? Then, after Mom sold her first book in the early 80’s, I realized that what I did best was tell a story. So I told a story and Kensington bought my very first novel. I’ve been writing in various genres, sometimes under pseudonyms, ever since and have had more than 80 books published.”
