A reader recently asked, “Hi Adrienne & Stephanie! Would you please feature an article in the future on redheads wearing boots? Specially what type looks good for redheads of different heights. I’m 5’4″ and often struggle with the long or short boots that look good on me…Would really help me shop!”

Here are the top tips on purchasing the right boot and how you should style your look:

Over the knee boots: These boots must only be worn over fitted pants. Also, if you happen to be on the shorter side, over the knee boots may actually make you look shorter.

The mid-calif/knee boot: This option is great if you’re wearing long skirts, dresses and fitted pants.

The ankle bootie: Given that every woman’s goal is to look as long and lean as possible, there is one solution, ankle-height boots. Make sure the pants you’re wearing fall straight from the widest part of your hips and the hem should fall midway down the boots heels. If you’re wearing straight leg jeans, ankle booties are a great option too.

If you’re in a pinch, the ankle bootie is the best option for every body types and height. But, remember that choosing the right boot does not have to depend on your height or body type, but how the look is styled.

Rock it like a Redhead!
