Green is a redhead’s staple color. It looks great with our red hair and complements fair skin. There are so many different shades of green and each are great for specific times of the year, certain outfits or occasions. The main shades are:

Sage Green: This ashy grey-green is gorgeous on redheads and is a perfect transition color between seasons, especially summer and fall.

Olive Green: Maybe the holy grail of all redhead greens is olive green. It’s versatile and adds a pop of color without feeling too overwhelming.

Emerald Green: If you want to make a statement, try emerald green. Varying in shades as dark as (nearly) black, emerald is an extremely sexy color year-round and is a great color when transitioning from fall to winter.

How Redheads Can Wear Green

Dress it Up: Green is a great color for weddings and other parties especially in the early fall. Headed out on the town? Slip into something silky and green. Headed to a daytime soiree? Try a lighter green dress in a material like crépe. For evening affairs, emerald green in a velvet material is to die for. Pair your green dress with nude heels to finish the look.

Dress it Down: Looking for something a little more casual? Try adding green to your wardrobe for daily wear through tops, casual dresses, and sweaters. Green pairs great with denim, white, beige and other neutrals.

Wear it To Work: Add a pop of color to your fall work wardrobe with some green. Try a full green pantsuit, a green overcoat or even some green trousers. Pair then with neutrals like white, beige and black to complete the look.

Try Green Accessories: Not ready to commit to green all the way? Try adding some green accessories like a purse to a neutral outfit. Other great green accessory choices include scarves, shoes, and jewelry.

Or Even Green Nails – Looking for a fun fall nail that isn’t warm-toned? Try a green nail with or without designs. Try ZOYA Sage, Essie Precious Car-Go, or Essie Off Tropic

Rock it like a Redhead!
