When it comes to redhead characters in TV and movies, it’s common to see non-redheads wind up in those roles. We love seeing redheads represented, which is why it’s so exciting to see more and more pursuing careers in the arts.
Our next guest is Ansley Hutchinson. We had an honest and funny conversation about what it is like being a creator in the TikTok space, acting, and celebrating her red hair, which has gotten even more vibrant as she gets older (so lucky). Originally from Reno, Nevada, Ansley realized she was a storyteller early on and got her start in local theater before moving to Los Angeles after high school to pursue acting.
Since graduating college during the pandemic, she has worked on several feature films, web series, shorts, and new media while writing two novels and creating content.
She is creative and loves to read, explore, and take long walks. Her ultimate goal is a pirate movie or show, particularly as iconic redhead Anne Bonny. Anne Bonny was an Irish-born pirate active in the Caribbean between 1718 and 1720 and is considered one of the most well-known pirates of the time period.
Follow Ansley on Instagram and TikTok to see more of her daily life, acting, and, of course, her red hair!
