Do Redheads Need to Wear Scalp Sunscreen?

The answer is yes and these are the products we recommend

We often rely on our luscious red locks to protect our scalps from things like cold and heat, but a scalp sunburn is very real and very painful. Scalp sunburns occur mostly in your hair part, or in areas where hair may be thinner or thinning. Like any sunburn, the best way to prevent a scalp sunburn is by using proper sun protection. The easiest way to protect your head is with a hat, but you can also use scalp/hair sunscreen.

Normal face and body sunscreen will leave your scalp and hair looking and feeling quite greasy, but sunscreen powders and sprays meant for your head are the perfect solutions. These products blend in easily with the hair leaving the scalp protected and letting your red hair still look its best.
