I was born in San Diego, CA, and I earned my B.A in Finance and my M.A in Education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I am the school record holder in the 5,000 meters at LMU as well as an NCAA All-American at the 10,000meter distance for track and field. I moved to Washington D.C. with two suitcases after college to join a professional running team in hopes of qualifying for the Olympic Trials in the marathon. I met the man of my dreams, a lover of my redheaded fire, and moved back to San Diego last year. I enjoy wine tasting, running (casually), and handicapping off-track horse races!
