Most redheads have pale skin. There is nothing like the soft glow of porcelain skin. New York City makeup artist, Stephanie Flor, gives 6 makeup tips for redheads with fair skin:
1. GENERAL TIP. “Pale skin is usually a cool undertone, so stick with cool colors to complement your beauty. Try blues or lavenders.”
2. FOUNDATION. “When looking for a foundation, look for a base that has a pink undertone vs red.”

3. BLUSH. “Play with stains. Blush is sometimes too harsh when you’re light, so try cheek stains. I love Tarte’s ‘Cheek Tint’ because it leaves a natural flushed look on the skin. Apply on the apples of the cheeks, where you usually get a rose from the cold weather.”

4. LASHES. “When you’re light skinned, your lash hair tends to be blonde; to give more emphasis to the eye, curl your lashes. Use a metal curler and curl once at the roots, hold for 3 seconds then curl midway and at the tip of lash. Apply mascara and you’ll see your eyes instantly wake up.”
5. EYESHADOW. “A lot of makeup isn’t your best friend. Less is more! Stick with creme shadows that add a slight vibrancy to your lid and highlight. I love creme shadows for light eyes.”

6. SKIN. “Skin is very important when you’re fair because any blemish causes red irritation. Take care of your skin with SPF and tons of moisture. In many countries pale skin is the ideal beauty, but you must protect it to see its flawless complexion.”
