Ready to Rock it This Halloween, Redhead?

When Halloween falls on a weekday, it’s important to put a little consideration into your costume. Is it appropriate for the general public? Will everyone feel comfortable with your costume? And most of all, will they understand your costume? Having a unique or niche costume can be fun, but nobody wants to be asked a million times a day by classmates or co-workers who they are dressed up as. Want some inpo for your school/work costume? We’ve got you:

1. Anxiety from Inside Out 2

Not only is this a great Halloween costume for all ages that’s pretty easy to put together, but it’s also super popular. Dress up with classmates or co-workers as all the emotional, or go solo! Pair an orange and white striped shirt with brown pants or a skirt, and you’re all set. Feeling extra festive? Style your red hair in a high puffed-out ponytail.

2. Melissa Schemmenti from Abbot Elementry

This is a perfect costume if you’re feeling something low-key but on-trend. Second-grade teacher Ms. Schemmenti has plenty of outfits to choose from, and her signature red hair is easy to style in curls. Want to go as a group? Get your co-workers or classmates to dress up as other characters from the show! Bonus points if you work at a school.

3. A Weasley from Harry Potter

Dressing up as one of the Weasleys is a classic costume that never gets old. Choose from Ron, Ginny, or any of the other redheads in the family. For a recognizable look, opt for Hogwarts robes!

4. Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus

Another cult classic is Winifred from the 90’s original film or the 2022 sequel. Want to dress up as a group? Get two co-workers or classmates and go as the whole Sanderson family.

5. Ariel from the The Little Mermaid

Ariel has always been a popular costume for redheads, but wearing a bikini to work or school might not be allowed. Instead, opt for one of the outfits she wears on land, like the blue or pink dress.

6. Pepa Madrigal

It’s been a few years since Encanto was all the rage, but this is still a fun Halloween costume. Pepa wears a bright, sunny yellow and orange dress with her red curls. Make a group costume and add in the other members of the Madrigal family!

7. Max Mayfield

If you’re a Stranger Things fan, you’ve got to dress up as Max! Her 80s style is iconic, easy, and comfortable for spending the day at work or school.

Rock it like a Redhead!
