In a world where redheads are teased, bullied, and made the butt of the joke, it’s essential to know that we can do anything! For redheads, young and old, having redhead role models is critical to building confidence and pride in our red hair.
This Olympics-themed episode will leave you feeling inspired, thankful, and motivated. Adrienne and Stephanie’s next guest is Clara Brown. She has won 11 total medals on the world championship stage, including three gold, three silver, and five bronze in track and road cycling.
Growing up, she had a strong athletic background in gymnastics, running, and skiing until she suffered a neck injury at 12. Despite this setback, she found solace in rowing during high school. However, it wasn’t until after college that she discovered her true calling in para-cycling, where she excelled and earned accolades.
The U.S. Paralympics Cycling announced 13 athletes — seven men and six women — to compete for Team USA at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, and Clara Brown is one of those 13. The H2BAR team is thrilled to watch her compete later this month in Paris!
Beyond sports, Clara enjoys cooking, hiking, and camping. She harbors ambitions of becoming a pilot and maybe even attending law school. Clara is a redhead who shows us all what we can achieve if we believe in ourselves and never stop working to achieve our dreams.
