6 Ways Redheads Can Reduce Pores This Summer

Don't Let Large Pores Ruin Your Fun in the Sun!

Struggling with the appearance of large pores? It’s not actually possible to change the size of your pores, but they can often appear larger when sweating, producing extra facial oils and even when skin is dry. This is something most of us redheads deal with in the summer months, so here are some steps you can take to help reduce the appearance of large pores.

1. Avoid too much sun exposure

Overexposure to the sun may lead to the appearance of larger pores. Keep your face protected by using SPF and reapplying every two hours, avoiding the direct sun in the middle of the day, and wearing a wide-brimmed hat.

2. Try a clay mask

Tighten your pores and remove excess oils and dirt with a clay mask. Just be sure to not overuse it, because it can dry out your skin

Keep your face from getting oily by avoiding the use of oil-based products. Opt for water-based ones instead.

4. Cleanse daily

Keep skin clear and remove excess oils, makeup, and build-up by cleansing 1-2 times per day and always removing your makeup.
