6 Genius Redhead Beauty Product Substitutes To Use In A Pinch

Everyday Items You Can Use When You're In a Bind!

Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where we just don’t have the redhead beauty product we need. We’ve talked a lot about multi-use products you can double up on, but what about if you don’t have some of those things? Here are 6 beauty products you can use in a pinch:

1. Aloe vera as hair gel

It’s no surprise aloe vera is a common household staple for redheads. It’s perfect for soothing sunburn, and setting your hair! Yes, you can use aloe vera gel as hair gel if you’re in a pinch. This is perfect for creating a slicked-back bun or ponytail when you need to run out the door.

2. Brow pencil as lip pencil (or vice versa)

For redheads, our brow pencils are already warm-toned with red or orange undertones, and this makes them the perfect lip liner. Go light, apply a coordinating lip color (or fill the whole thing in) and add some gloss! Bonus: if you’ve got the right shade of lip liner you could use it as a brow pencil.

4. Vaseline as lip gloss

There’s something about lip gloss that just elevates even a no-makeup day. Don’t have any? Use vaseline! It will last longer than lip balm and won’t smudge any lipstick you’re wearing underneath.

5. Baby powder as dry shampoo

We’ve all been there, you have no time to wash your hair and of course, your dry shampoo is empty. Instead of leaving the house looking like a hot mess, add some baby powder, brush it through and you’re good to go!

6. Bar soap as brow gel

Don’t have time to apply Finally Have Brows? But, if you’re in a pinch, did you know you can actually use bar soap as brow gel? Just wet a spoolie and rub it on the soap and then comb through your brows.
