1. Metals and skin tone

One of the most common ways to determine which metals look best on you is to use your undertones. Your undertones can be determined by looking for your veins. If your veins are more on the blue side you’re most likely cool-toned. If your veins are more on the green side you’re most likely warm-toned. If you are unable to tell, you may have neutral undertones.

You can rock any color of metal!

Note: Just because your skin tone looks best in one color doesn’t mean you have to stick to that. If you like a piece of jewelry and the way it looks, wear it! Mixing metals is also a great way to pull in metals you like without it feeling overwhelming.

2. Pairing jewelry with outfits

Chances are you own jewelry in a variety of metals. The best way to make jewelry flatter you is to coordinate it with your outfit. If your outfit is made up of warmer tones, try going with gold or rose gold jewelry. If your outfit is running cooler-toned, try platinum and silver.

Additionally, you can pair your jewelry to any metal accents on your shoes, bag, belt, or other accessories for a more cohesive look.
