How to Keep Your Fair Skin Nourished This Fall

Redhead Beauty Tips for Redhead Season!

Redhead Season is here!

The change in temperature can make your skin dry, dull and itchy. Here are six tips to seamlessly transition your skin from summer to fall:

1. Reduce the number of products used.

We, redheads, have naturally thinner skin. This Redhead Season, try limiting the number of skincare products you use. By doing this, or even by switching to products with more natural properties, you will be giving your skin time to breath. Cutting back on the amount of makeup we put on can allow your skin to take a deep breath and have a bit of a vacation.

Make this the season to drink more water too. It will help hydrate your skin and make you feel healthy and happier. In my opinion, it’s the best beauty product out there.

2. Apply a face mask 1-2 times a week.

Work with your skin, not against it. Once a week, take time to pamper it with a face mask. TULA Probiotic Skin Care Exfoliating Dual Phase Treatment Mask with Hydrating Vitamin E, Soybean Oil and Bentonite Clay is a great option for redheads as it works wonders on those with sensitive skin. Make sure to always moisturize after maskin’ to eliminate dry, tight skin.

3. Exfoliate.

The colder weather can cause utter chaos for our delicate skin. If you find your skin is getting drier as the weather gets colder, it’s time to whip out the exfoliator. Try a product like NIA24 Physical Cleansing Scrub.

4. Eye cream for tired eyes.

The skin underneath your eyes is quite thin, so a tiny bit of tiredness can really show through. RoC Retinol Correxion Anti-Aging Eye Cream Treatment is a great product for under eye circle sufferers as it really helps to brighten up the eyes and reduce dark circles.

If eye cream isn’t enough, a brightening concealer like Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer is a great little handbag-sized product that really illuminates the space under your eyes and makes you look more awake.

5. Moisturize your skin daily.

Keeping skin happy and hydrated this season is really important as we are exposing our skin to bitter temperatures. Make sure you apply a face moisturizer daily to help your skin from drying out. If you can find one with SPF, even better. Just because summer is over, it doesn’t mean SPF is any less important. SPF helps fight fine lines and wrinkles!

6. Moisturize your lips daily.

Try Blistex or Carmex. Tip: If you find your lips get very chapped, take a soft toothbrush and gently buff it on your lips to remove flaky skin. A lip scrub, followed up by your favorite balm, will also help your lovely lips go from drab to fab.

Rock it like a Redhead!
