Because sometimes festive holidays just sneak up on you and you find yourself unprepared. Here are 10 easy, last-minute, redhead Halloween costumes any redhead can rock.
1. Wilma from the Flinstones:
A bit of a throwback, but all you need to do is pick up a leopard print dress or a cave-woman costume, and BAM, Wilma Flinstone has arrived at the party.
2. Ariel:
Ariel from the Little Mermaid never goes out of style. With a purple bikini top and a flowing teal skirt, you’ve got yourself a make-shift Disney princess costume.
3. Daphne:
Growing up a Scooby Doo fan, I’m surprised I haven’t actually dressed up as Daphne myself. All you need to perfect the look is a green scarf with a purple dress and next thing you know, you’ll be solving ghost mysteries in no time!
4. Kim Possible:
Ever want to dress up as a spy but thought you’d stand out too much with your red hair? Think again. All you need to look like Kim Possible is a pair of baggy khaki pants and a tight-fitting black top…”What’s the sitch?” Kim Possible is making your Halloween possible!
5. Blossom:
Yet another redhead throwback: Blossom from the dynamic trio of the Powerpuff Girls! All you need is a red dress, a red bow, and a thick black sash or belt to tie around your waste. Ta-da, you’ll be stopping the evil Mojo Jojo in no time.
6. Merida:
The classic redheaded Pixar movie about a girl who saves her village after turning her mother into a bear. This is a great costume especially if you can nail the Scottish accent. All you need is a long green dress, styling cream for your hair to curl, and if you happen to have a bow that will help to complete the quick Merida costume look.
7. Anna:
Frozen Princess, Anna. This one is a little bit trickier of the ten costumes listed here but it is still doable at the last minute. You’ll need to braid your hair, find yourself a long royal blue skirt, with a long-sleeve teal top and throw a black vest over it. If you happen to have a fuchsia-colored cloak laying around feel free to add that on top, but if not you’ll still be able to pull off the Anna look.
8. Dottie Hinson:
Switching it up from the animated redheads, we’ve got Dottie Green from the movie A League of Their Own. This Halloween costume is perfect for the baseball lover. The easiest way to go about putting together this costume would be to find a red baseball cap, a red belt, a baseball glove and a white sheet. Tie the sheet almost like a toga around yourself so that it is stylish, yet comfortable and place the red belt across your belly-button area.
9. Ginny Weasley:
Straighten your hair, put on a black dress, and grab a stick from outside. There you have it, you have now transformed into the love of Harry Potter’s life. But then again, who wouldn’t love a redhead?
10. Kimmy Schmidt:
Feeling quirky? Dress up as the main character, Kimmy Schmidt from Netflix’s hit series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. All you need is a pair of brightly colored pants, a fun sweater, and a big smile. You’re ready to take on New York City, just like Kimmy.
Rock it like a Redhead!
