We spoke with celebrity hairstylist, beauty expert and owner of Bokaos Salon in Los Angeles, Hasblady Guzman. Her ardent stable of clientele has grown to rely on her as the go-to for all of their beauty needs.
Here are her top 4 tips for transforming redhead makeup from summer to fall:
1. Don’t leave the house without your security blanket against the sun.
“CC Cream by Peter Thomas Roth 30 SPF and loaded with Vitamin C. I’m crazy about this product all year round. Great coverage and moisturizing.”
2. As your summer fades, remember you can still use a bright coral lip color and face bronzer.
“Guerlain Sunless Terracotta is amazing. I also love a gloss like STILA Beauty Boss Lip Gloss in Win-Win.”
3. Your redhead brows are always in season.
“Use Anastasia Pro Pencil eye shadow primer at the brow bone. Anastasia’s DIPBROW Pomade in ‘Auburn’ and duo brow Brush #12 is a must-use on the brows themselves.”
4. Use a brown liner for daytime.
“Chantecaille makes an amazing waterproof eyeliner. For evening, NARS ‘Larger Than Life’ long-wear eyeliner is divine.”
Rock it like a Redhead!
