Debra Messing attended last night’s 2014 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California. As one of the evening’s presenters, the actress was dressed in a statement design from the Angel Sanchez Spring 2014 collection. When E!’s Giuliana Rancic asked her what the inspiration was behind her overall look she said, “beauty.”
To re-create get her chic redhead hairstyle, we talked with NYC editorial stylist, Kiera Doyle. “Debra was navy chic with a sleek round brush blowout. You can get the look in 4 simple steps.” said Doyle.
How to re-create the look:

2. Using a wide tooth comb, create a deep side part with some grooming creme or heavy hair spray to slick the smaller side back.
3. Tip: If more curls are desired, use a wide barrel curling iron to curl the ends.
4. Spritz with a shine of finished spray.
