Quick Guide: Don’t Let Dark Spots Get You Down

By: Guest Writer, Susan Ciminelli, Owner of Susan Ciminelli Beauty Clinic

Many women suffer from dark spots and it can be frustrating to cover them or even try to get rid of them. For those with discolorations, it can be a source of self-consciousness, but not anymore! Susan Ciminelli shares with you how to cover up  and prevent those nasty/ brown dark spots:

1. Sunscreen: Most dark spots are caused from too much sun exposure. Never ever go outside without sunscreen on. Opt for a sunscreen that is gentle on the skin but protects from UVB and UVA rays. Try: Susan Ciminelli’s SPF 30.

2. Skin Spot Lightener: Use a skin spot lightener several times a week. Try: Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

3. Over 35+: If you’re 35-years-old or older, start taking a Vitamin E pill daily. Vitamin E is very helpful in diminishing the appearance of dark skin spots and discolorations. You’ll begin to see a difference in 8-12 weeks.
