1. Prep your lips

Lipstick looks the best and stays the longest when your lips are prepped and primed. To prep your lips for red lipstick, start by exfoliating with a lip scrub or a DIY mix of sugar and honey. Gently rub the mixture on your lips to remove dead skin. Follow up with a hydrating lip balm to keep your lips smooth.
