6 Famous Redheads When They Were Kids

Redheads are Like Wine, They Get Better With Age

If you’re a redhead or you have redhead children you probably know how hard it can be sometimes. While red hair is seen as beautiful and is coveted by many adults, it can often be the cause of bullying or teasing in young redheads. Here are 6 of your favorite famous redheads when they were kids, just to remind you (or your redhead little ones) that it does get better:

1. Isla Fisher

Originally born in Oman, Fisher moved to Australia at age 6 where she appeared in commercials at a young age. In the late 90s and early 2000s, Fisher made her Hollywood debut which launched her current career as an actress and author. Fisher has stated in numerous interviews that she was teased as a child for being the only redhead in her class, but as an adult, she has embraced her fiery locks.

2. Rupert Grint

Fame was no stranger to Grint who launched his Hollywood career at age 11 when he was cast as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series. Grint was also teased as a child for his red hair and said making friends was hard, but he embraced his red hair anyways.

3. Jessica Chastain

This award-winning actress was interested in film from an early age and even studied at Julliard. Chastain has stated that she didn’t want to be different as a child, she just wanted to be like everyone else. Now she is known for her gorgeous ginger hair and refuses to dye it for any role.

She moved to Los Angeles after high school and in 2016 was cast in her now-infamous role as Cheryl Blossom in Riverdale. 5. Prince Harry

The world has watched Prince Harry grow from a chubby-cheeked little boy into a man and now a father to children of his own. Harry has spoken out about being bullied for the color of his hair and being called teasing nicknames throughout life, but he’s always embraced the red.

6. Lindsay Lohan

Queen of the mid-2000s teen movies Lindsay Lohan was teased because of her red hair and freckles as a kid. Lohan has even dyed her hair a number of colors, but in 2021 it seems like she’s back to red and loving it.
