5 Ways To Create Brows If You Don’t Have Any

Say Goodbye to Barely-There Brows!

Updated: November 2nd, 2023

If you’re reading this, chances are your redhead eyebrows are pretty light. If you over-plucked in your early years (especially in the 1990’s and early 2000’s) then you may have thin AND blonde(ish) brows that don’t quite frame your face or don’t show up at all.

If your brows are struggling, first thing’s first: let them grow. Put down the wax and tweezers. Instead, pick up Vitamin E* to promote hair growth and eat a healthy diet. In addition to all those things, you can stimulate growth by brushing your brows twice daily and using a brow serum.

Brows can really enhance your look and elevate your redhead makeup routine. Here are a few options to get great-looking brows:

1. Brush + Pencil Your Brows:

Yes, you can stimulate growth by brushing your brows twice daily and using a brush serum. This is why we added a spoolie to the end of the Finally Have Brows Ultra Fine Brow PencilBrow pencils take a little more practice to get used to but they are perfect for adding color and also filling in sparse areas. Brow pencils are great paired with a tinted or clear brow gel.

3. Brow Tint

If you want longer-lasting results, and aren’t afraid to do a little at-home project, try brow tinting. There aren’t many colors for redheads yet, but many redheads find something that works for them with a blonde or light brown shade. This will give you brow color that doesn’t wash off, and then you can amp up your look and add more color, hold with a brow gel.

4. Brow Powder

Another option for redheads is brow powder. It’s the same consistency as an eyeshadow and can give good color and definition. Brow powder is nice because you can often mix two colors if you need something custom. Just remember to set your brow powder with a clear brow gel or wax.

5. Microblading

For a permanent brow solution, some redheads will opt for microblading. This works especially well if your brow hairs are sparse or patchy. Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattoo that imitates the look of brow hairs.
