The flowers are blooming and fair skin is freckling. Wave goodbye to winter and say hello to spring! Pamper your redhead skin with these top tips:
1. Get a good night’s sleep
We’ve heard this time and time again, but it works. All of the fair maidens need the right amount of shuteye. Sleep is after all when our body does most of its recovery and repair. Sleep is many times overlooked, but getting an average of 8 hours it will do wonders for your rosy complexion.
Can’t get rid of your dark circles? Try a DIY parsley eye mask! Chop a handful of parsley (preferably organic). In a small bowl, grind the leaves with a wooden spoon. Pour a tablespoon of hot water over the parsley and stir the mixture together. When the water has cooled, use 2 cotton balls to soak up the juice. Lie down and keep the cotton ball under your eyes for 10 minutes.
2. Start your mornings off right
After hours of beauty sleep, the body needs hydration. Try kicking off the morning with a large glass of lemon water. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into an 8 oz glass and drink it hot or cold. Hydrate frequently and your skin will respond with softness, radiance, and zero puffiness. Carry a refillable fruit-infused water jug with you, allowing you to customize the fruit and add water throughout the day.

3. Fall in love with coconut oil
Many of you probably already know many of the benefits of coconut oil. Aside from oral health improvement, oil pulling also does wonders for allergies and sinus problems. You can apply coconut to the skin as an all-natural moisturizer and even boosting your colon and liver health. Clean out those toxins!
4. Sweat it out
Bump up that work out routine a few notches and embrace your sweat. The skin is one of our largest and most important organs. Sweating is a great way to release any toxins built up in your body. Sweating for around thirty minutes 3-4 times a week will improve your complexion and boost your endorphins. Plus whose opposed to working on that bikini body?
5. Try a hydrosol
Hydrosols, also known as floral waters, are products from steam distilling plant materials. Hydrosols are like essential oils but in far less of a concentration.
This hydrating mist is something I start every morning with. Carry one in your bag if you are on the go or keep one at your desk for a refresh now and again. They are usually sold in a glass spray bottle, coming in many fragrant varieties. One of my favorites is the Malie Organics BotanyBeauty Hydrosol Facial Tonic. It’s wonderful for awakening the complexion, brightening and rose is a perfect option for sensitive skin.
