2021’s Five Best Shows To Binge-Watch With Redhead Leads

Put these on your list for 2021

Have you been missing all the redheads in Game of Thrones as much as I have been? Well, don’t worry because 2020 has gifted us a whole new onslaught of redheads to binge-watch into the new year! If you haven’t watched these series yet, put them at the top of your list for 2021.

The Queen’s Gambit

Not sure how entertaining a show about chess will be?  Neither was I, but this series kept me on the edge of my seat. The intrigue, the clothes, the hairstyles! Redheaded orphan, Beth Harmon, is a woman battling inner-demons and rising to fame in a world dominated by men. The Queen’s Gambit is an absolute must-see on Netflix.

The Undoing

The Undoing is an HBO crime drama starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. Grace Fraser’s life gets turned upside down when she discovers her husband might be responsible for a murderous disaster. I love it when Nicole Kidman wears her natural red curls, and I am so excited to see her performance in this series!

Bridgerton

Shonda Rhimes has done it again!  This time with a new series that is Downton Abbey meets Scandal and is chock-full of redheads. Bridgerton is a Netflix period-piece about eight close-knit siblings looking for love and happiness in London high society. It’s been called a historical Gossip Girl, and if I know Shonda, she’s got plenty of drama in store for us with this series.

Ratched

This psychological thriller, based on a character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest stars Sara Paulson as Mildred Ratchet—a young auburn-maned nurse in a mental institution who evolves from a dedicated practitioner into a full-blown monster.  No one can play a dark, disturbing character quite like Sara Paulson, and I’m anxious to see her embody this role.

The Luminaries

This miniseries tells a nineteenth-century tale of love, murder, and revenge as a group travels across the world in hopes of making their fortune during the 1860 Gold Rush boom.  I’m excited for Eva Green’s portrayal of the mysterious, fortune-telling redhead Lydia Wells.
