You’ve been invited to an event and now you’re wondering what to wear. Are you wondering how to dress for the occasion?
Redheads can usually pull off any outfit because they have the personality to match the look. Whatever you do, don’t go crazy and wear feather boas or extravagant gowns. And, don’t go too casual with a t-shirt and yoga pants (for some reason, women find it necessary to go out in them!). In reality, smart casual is the usual dress code for most occasions.
Here’s what you should wear to a fun night out, a black tie, cocktail or super casual event:
1. Black Tie. It’s all about formal attire. Men wear tuxedos, women wear cocktail, long dresses or dressy evening separates. A little black dress is the best, quick and easy idea for black tie functions.

2. Festive Attire. This is usually seen around the holidays, but we’ll be seeing it in the upcoming weeks as ladies get ready for Valentine’s Day. You can get away with tailored trousers and dark jeans as long as you complete the outfit with the pieces to really set it off and make a statement. Chiffon blouses or camisoles can add a very classy and feminine edge to trousers or jeans. Team it with a blazer to give a fashionable, but powerful edge.
3. Dressy Casual. A mid-length dress of any style, whether it’s a party dress, peplum, or shift, works well as long as it is tasteful.
4. Super Casual: If you are spending all evening out and about doing something fun & spontaneous, like a night of casino games in Atlantic City, you may want to wear a great pair of jeans and a fun top, pair with a wedge heel for support.

For Any Occasion: Add a little red in your outfit to make your hair pop. This is perhaps our favorite beauty/fashion tip, but the color is unbelievably striking on redheads when done right.
