Here are four tips on how to find the right foundation for your skin:
1. Do you suspect that your current foundation is not the ‘right’ foundation? Try this trick: Take a swab soaked in makeup remover and remove a strip down the cheek. Observe the differences in shades; is the skin more pink or yellow underneath? Is the foundation enhancing your skin? This will help you determine what you want out of your foundation.
2. Hold a white piece of paper under your chin to eliminate any colors being reflected on to the skin, this will allow your shade and undertones to pop.
3. Next, choose the shade you believe is the correct fit – then choose one that is a shade darker and one a shade lighter. Stripe all three shades down your cheek, the one that disappears is the right match.
