#SorryNotSorry: The Unapologetic Liquid Blue Eyeliner for Redheads

By: Andrea Claire

This look is so unapologetic because I’m #SorryNotSorry it’s so darn fabulous! It is a runway/editorial look but frankly, you can pull this off in person. The trick here is to not get carried away and remember to hold back on other makeup, so less on the lips and cheeks.

Before doing the eye, I prep the skin with Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream, ‘Glow’ by Dr Brandt Revitalizing Retinol Eye Cream, Dermalogica SkinPerfect Primer SPF 30. I used Giorgio Armani Beauty Maestro Cream Compact 4.5 and DaLish Cosmetics C02 concealer.

For the cheeks, I add Too Faced ‘Sun Bunny’. I applied this under my foundation for a subtle radiance.

Now, here is how to get that unapologetic liquid blue eyeliner look:

1. You will need Boots No7 Precise Liquid Liner in ‘Sky High’ and your black mascara wand.

2. Although it’s a ‘precise’ liner, we aren’t going to be. Apply the blue liner in an imprecise cross-hatch across the lids.

3. Then, gently roll the mascara wand on a tissue to remove excess product. Press (gently!) onto your eye lids going almost in between the places where you put the blue eyeliner. The goal is to layer but you still want to see both textures.

4. Then curl your eyelashes, put on some mascara and you’re done sister!

Last but not least, I added a little L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Collection Cheryl Barely Greige to my lips. Seriously, if you don’t have this lip collection you need to grab it.

Like the idea but not a fan of blue? Shame on you, because blue looks amazing on redheads. However, you can do this with a metallic emerald green, amethyst or even a gold.

Like it or leave it? Let me know your thoughts.

Rock it like a Redhead!
