The Power of Air Drying & Skipping The Blow Drying Process
We, Stephanie and Adrienne, have naturally red hair and have to fight our frizzy, curly hair on a daily basis!
We, Stephanie and Adrienne, have naturally red hair. We love our color and always feel extra beautiful because of our uniqueness, but we have to fight our frizzy, curly hair on a daily basis. One of the ways we keep our hair maintained (it can get pretty out of control!) is to air dry it. It sounds pretty simple, but it actually keeps our hair healthy and shiny. The healthier the hair, the less likely it is to look and feel fried. This trick will allow your hair to take well to other hot tools like straighteners and curlers.

Here are some of the “powers” of air drying your red locks and skipping the blow drying process:
1. Healthy Hair – Like we said, this is the main reason to allow your hair to air dry. By skipping the heat of a blow dryer, you are reducing the amount of total heat on your head during the styling process. And, you really do not need as many styling products, which is better for your hair in the end and keeps your hair cleaner for a few more days, too!
2. Great for Redheads- Air drying is especially good for natural redheads because gingers have been proven to have thicker hair than blondes and brunettes. Now, you can spend less time standing in front of the mirror with a round brush, pulling out your curls and you will be able to do other fun activities.
2. Money – You are able to save money on products that you would need to add the moisture back into your hair that the blow dryer took out.
Do you air dry your red hair?!
