The infamous New York Fashion Week has wrapped up and there were a ton of different styles and trends seen walking down the runway. Many ladies feel overwhelmed with new trends, especially when there is so much change. Keep in mind that it is important to update your look and keep your fashion red hot!

We broke down the top “redhead friendly” fashion trends for this season:

1. Loud & Mixed  Colors: Vera Wang showed off a beautiful Nehru collar and bold blue print. And Carlos Miele gave a great South American twist with bright, bold colors. This season, opt for loud prints and mix them together. It is always fun to play around with a fun skirt and flowey top. When the weather starts to get cold, layer the outfit with a great leather jacket and colorful scarf.

2. Fanny Packs: Fanny packs made many appearances and was featured on Rachael Zoe’s runway as well as DKNY and Jeremy Scott. This look is incredibly classy and can look good with almost any outfit. If you’re a bit on the rocker side, choose a fun, fringed fanny packs or if you’re looking for a chic-er look, find an fanny that is structured and hangs on the hip perfectly.

3. Bondage Details: Michael Kors featured a rockin’ cut-out black gown and Calvin Klein mixed lady-like with lingerie. Shop around for a fun pair of tights or accessorize with bold, bondage-like jewelry.

4. Glasses: J.Crew, DVF, Cynthia Rowley and many more had their models wearing big, over-sized, fun glasses. Go to your local flea-market or thrift store and stock up on fun frames to liven up your outfits!

5. Cropped Tops: Jill Stuart, Phillip Lim and Charlotte Ronson featured cropped tops with either super high pants or super low pants. Be careful though, if you aren’t model height, you could look shorter than you are! If you are rockin’ a cropped top, make sure to pair it with some high heels because it will make your look taller.

6. Long Skirts: This look was all the rage last season and it is back and hotter than ever! There are many long skirt styles to choose from, so opt for one that expresses your personality.

7. Cropped Pants: This season, the best-dressed ladies will be wearing pants. It is very trendy to wear slouchy trousers with a flat or heel. The best part about this look is that you can wear almost any color or print and make the look go from day-to-night!

Hi Adrienne & Stephanie! I’m Carmina. I am Mexican and a natural redhead! And my hair has gone from fiery red to auburn. But, it changes on a daily basis. One day I have bright red hair, other days I have dull looking auburn hair. I’ve been trying to keep my red hair vibrant, but I don’t want to

By: Guest Writer, Kathy Hall. I’ve purchased my ticket to the world of auburn locks. It’s obvious a mistake was made at birth, and it was up to me to rectify it. Now all is right with the world – at least from my point of view.
