Expert Advice: Stop Hot Tools From Leaving Red Hair Dull and Damaged

Many natural redheads have frizzy, coarse hair and the only way to keep it tamed is to use styling products and hot tools. With the summer is full bloom, the humidity and hot tools could be damaging your hair more and more everyday. Red hair is so unique and rare and that’s why it is important to keep it from looking dull, damaged and unhealthy.

Follow my quick advice on how to keep your gorgeous hair protected and shiny:

Styling products that provide heat protection are key. Some of these products are actually activated by heat and will either allowing conditioning ingredients to penetrate the hair or provide a protective barrier on the surface of the hair. Two of my favorite products for a sleek look are: Flat Marvel by Goldwell and Sleek Perfection Thermal Spray by Goldwell because they both protect up to 392 degrees!
