Stay Ageless, Redheads!

The Power of Vitamin E

Natural redheads are always concerned about their skin- why? Because redheads don’t have the pigmentation that others do, therefore, we burn easily and are more perceptible to wrinkles or worse.. that terrible alligator skin! Even those that don’t have light, sensitive skin- this trick will work for you too.

Throughout the years, we’ve interviewed many redheads and the ones with perfect skin all claimed to know “the secret” to keeping their hair beautiful:

Vitamin E.

Tip: After cleansing your skin, spray Vitamin E on your face and lock it in with a moisturizer.

We love The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Face Mist ($16.00 for 3.5 fl oz)

It easily fits in our makeup bags and it’s very convenient. Also, the ingredients in the face mist are natural (always look for this!) which is key because chemicals in products do not rejuvenate your skin- they arguably age your skin.

If you’re too busy to buy this product or looking for a cheaper alternative, next time you’re at a convenience store pick up Vitamin E oil ($6.00 at our local pharmacy) and mix it in your daily lotion.

Also, for a more obvious way of giving your body its needed Vitamin E, eat lots of nuts & greens! Although, these alternatives won’t be as refreshing as The Body Shop’s spray bottle,  you’ll get the same lasting effects from Vitamin E.

Stay ageless, redheads!

The best part of summer is enjoying the weather, but sometimes your hair can suffer from outdoor swimming activities. Most swimming pools maintain high levels of certain chemicals, especially chlorine, in order to keep the water clean and bacteria free. High levels of chlorine can strip your hair, leaving it dry and prone to split ends. Here are some simple
