How to Wear Gold with Your Beautiful Red Hair

By: Tasha, The Bay Area Style Guru

Luxe metallics, especially gold, are shown everywhere in fashion and like the temperature, the trend is getting hotter everyday!
Red hair tends to have a lot of warm, golden undertones, so the metallic trend is guaranteed to look amazing on all redheads.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to wear a golden glow this season:

Pump It Up: Generally, you should only wear just one element of the metallic trend at one time to avoid looking like a glitter ball, so gorgeous gold shoes are a great style option. Try pairing them with neutral colors for high impact. I am loving Vince Camuto “Mosa” metallic pump.

Golden Goddess: If you have a special event to attend, save the Little Black Dress and go for the gold. In evening wear, gold is an unexpected color choice which evokes sexiness and elegance at the same time. I am loving this Aidan Mattox one shoulder sequin dress.

Exotic Eyes: One of my favorite makeup trends is an updated smokey eye using metallic shades instead of dark colors. Try M.A.C. mineralize eyeshadow in Gilt by Association.

Carry On: To carry your essentials for a fab evening out, there is no prettier choice than a luxe gold clutch to add a touch of glam. I am loving Jimmy Choo Candy Mirror Clutch.

Gold Finger: If you’re not quite ready to rock a gold outfit, you can still have the metallic trend at your fingertips. Try a shimmering gold polish with an edgy vibe like the latest crackle styles. I am loving China Glaze Tarnished Gold Metallic Crackle Polish.

Good as Gold: Gold lip colors are a fab way to update any lipstick you already own, just simply swipe a bit of gold on top of your fave colors for an updated and pretty effect! I am loving Beauty Without Cruelty Natural Infusion Lipstick in gold.

By rocking these gorgeous metallic trends, you will be the gold standard for summer style!

Rock it Like a Redhead!
