Guide to Essential Oils for Redheads
Redheads are now a Triple Threat!
By: Jennifer Haynes
Of course, we redheads need some sexy scents to go with our outgoing, confident personalities. The reason I began using essential oils is because after researching many of the commercial perfumes on the market, I realized they are full of chemicals and additives.
We have enough pollution in this world and we don’t need to willingly put it on our skin to be absorbed into our bloodstreams as well. I soon realized that you could smell gorgeous- in a natural way- and the oils could benefit many parts of the body. There are a wide variety of essential oils to choose from and something to suit every mood/personality. Or if you want you can mix different scents.
Some of the scents may be too strong for you on there own and can easily be watered down with carrier oils (jojoba, olive or almond oil). Here are a few that I have tried and absolutely adore:
1.Patchouli: This extremely heavy scent is from South America and Asia. It is the perfect hot date night scent. It is said to be a relaxant; it’s better to be relaxed on a date anyways! It has also been said to ease headaches, abdominal pains (cramps), colds and nausea.
2. Ylang Ylang: This oil has an exotic sweet smelling floral scent. In addition to its beautiful smell, it has been highly prized for its ability to stabilize skin conditions; whether too oily or too dry. It has also been used to stimulate hair growth, aid in anxiety, and also as an aphrodisiac.
3. Jasmine: Is an interesting flower that is picked at night because thats when its scent is heaviest;and a the factor as to why it is considered a powerful aphrodisiac. It is also believed to produce feelings of confidence, aid in childbirth, soothe nerves, causes euphoria and re-energizes your whole body.
All of these scents are easily bought at your local health food store. It has never been easier to smell great, ease stress and be an ultimate walking aphrodisiac.Watch out boys, Redheaded ladies have just become a triple threat!
