The TUX Trend
The TUX Trend
By: Sarah Reeves
We redheads have always been a pretty confident bunch (we have the prettiest hair, cutest freckles… the list goes on) and it takes a confident gal to wear one of the hottest trends for fall these days- The TUX Trend.
Here’s a few pieces to help you achieve this classic style:
Oversized boxy blazer- This is a very masculine cut blazer. It should be fitted in the arm area, but be a very
boxy, straight lined jacket. Pair the jacket with a super sexy dress.
Warning: Do not match the oversized blazer with leopard knee-high leggings like Rihanna! It’s a fashion no-no!
Tuxedo pants- The pants are a slender fitted pant. Many have the standard tuxedo stripe along the sides. If you wear these pants with a dressy blouse tucked in, it will really put a spin on your standard office look.
Tuxedo shirt- This flattering top comes in the biggest variety. There are casual button-ups done with a tuxedo ruffle front that can be worn with jeans. There are also very masculine tuxedo tops with all of the usual bells and whistles (French cuffs, black buttons, etc)
Tip: Wearing each piece separately with a girly feminine touch is a great way to be on trend without investing a lot. Don’t forget to accessorize either. Wear bangles and bracelets with your oversized blazer and roll up the sleeves. Put a statement necklace with fitted tuxedo pants.
The must have for ALL of these looks are Heels, Pumps, or Stilettos. C’mon we’re still girls even if we’re wearing a few male staples!

Then, take hair back with your fingers (to create lift) and fasten loosely with a small claw clip. 3. Add in
