A Pale and Speckled Gift
A Pale and Speckled Gift

“You should never wear shorts.”
“You just blinded me with your skin!”
My wife heard all the above classic redhead comments growing up. She internalized the message and has had trouble accepting her paleness ever since; not to mention the freckles and how they explode on her shoulders and face every summer. While she doesn’t mind freckles as much – the paleness seems to bother her because it elicits comments from everyone.
Then she married me and I’ve barely been able to take my eyes off her ever since.
I find her coloring gorgeous. The shock of the red hair in contrast to the skin is exciting. Frankly, since the moment I noticed girls way back when, I have loved redheads.
The paler and frecklier, the better.
Now, here I am, very lucky to be the husband of a natural redhead who is simply beautiful. But, she is always worried about being “too pale.” I don’t get it. I literally can’t comprehend her perspective!
We’ve been together for 13 years and I have practically passed out with pleasure when she is at her palest. Yet, I still haven’t convinced her it is okay. She longs for tanner legs or more color on her arms. I have supported her using the occasional bronzer because I want her to be comfortable in her own skin. However, when the bronzer has worn off and her legs are giving off a creamy ivory shimmer, that is when I find myself locked on her beauty!
As a man, I am here to tell all redheaded ladies, honor and cherish that natural redhead look. It is a gift.
You are very rare – only 2% of the population. Celebrate it! I swear I am not alone in finding your coloring entrancing, there are plenty of guys who do.
The next time someone makes a negative comment about your paleness, let it swim on by and keep wearing that short skirt. I promise, for every negative comment, there is a guy nearby who thinks your hair, pale skin and freckles are the most beautiful characteristics he has ever seen!

Even though redheads are constantly reminded to apply sunscreen, we’re feisty and sometimes stubbornly don’t re-apply. This natural remedy will instantly help you sleep through the night!

Women love to find and use hair products, but let’s admit it, it can get pretty expensive. Opt for eggs for your next hair mask. Eggs are the best for hair growth and add shine to red locks because they are high in protein and it helps to make the hair follicle stronger. The result? Fewer split ends and thick, strong hair. 1.
